The 2015 Chevrolet Trax suits up for city streets with an urban guerrilla street fighter feel for tight spaces, light-footed responsiveness, in a sharp looking package with a snappy interior.
Being born into the emerging market of the “wee-SUV”, the Trax enters the segment in 2015 against some heavy hitters like the Nissan Juke, KIA soul, and the Honda HR-V. It has no problem hitting back.
Attractively priced and carrying plenty of enhancements over its European cousin, which has been on sale in Europe since 2012, the vehicle brings a quieter ride for the segment coupled with a nicely done sport feel to the suspension and a peppy engine.
Designed to taking on the urban city centers where parking is tight, things move sporadically and quick, and fuel numbers get important, the vehicle delivers on the promise of a handy way to get around town in an attractive looking little SUV.
Loads of cargo configurations to meet every demand
Configurability defines the cargo space inside the vehicle. With eight seating configurations that let you load anything from a couple of guitars and gear to your collection of lamps, rugs, and travel boxes for the new apartment, you’ll find it hard to run out of ways to put stuff inside.
Added to the wild number of ways you can configure the seating for storage, there are plenty, fifteen to be exact, storage area where you can stuff all your knick-knacks and personals without them flying around and finding a place to land on their own.
It all adds up to nearly 50 cubic feet of storage for plenty of flexibility for whatever you need.
Turbocharged efficiency and plenty of punch
Turbocharged efficiency comes from a 1.4L inline 4 that delivers 26mpg city* (FWD), and just because it’s an efficient little thing doesn’t mean it’s wimpy.
The engine cranks out 138 horsepower which is no slouch of a number, but it’s the nearly 150 lb-ft of torque that really lets you know you can get it done when you push the pedal.
The driveline is responsive to every touch of the gas pedal, and with the available electronically controlled AWD system you get traction and maneuverability in challenging driving conditions.

Enough gadgets and goodies to satisfy your technology jones
Along with the standard gadgets and goodies you normally find, the Chevrolet Trax is bringing in new ideas in technology like available OnStar 4G LTE Wi-Fi, Siri Eyes Free, and OnStar remote link.
With a touch of a button on the steering wheel, a compatible i-Phone enables Siri for voice activated control. Send and receive text messages, check your calendar, ask questions, and get information from Siri. Together with the OnStar remote link app for your smart phone, you can keep in touch with your Trax wherever you are.
Safety
A suite of safety features make for keeping you safe when things get out of control.
Standard features like StabiliTrack® electronic stability control, rear park assist, and standard rear vision camera bring advanced technology to you, helping keep control of your drive.
Together with the standard air-bags, seat-belt systems, and steel re-enforced safety cage, the vehicle sets safety as a standard concern from the ground up. In 2015, the Chevrolet Trax received a 5-Star overall vehicle safety score for safety* from the NHTSA and is an IIHS 2015 Top Safety pick.
